Safety is Our Priority
Effective December 31, 2014, faculty, staff, volunteers and some student employees are required to obtain three background clearances as a condition of employment.  Those clearances are as follows:

• Criminal Background Check (Act 34) - A criminal history record check conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police.
• Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) - Certification from the Department of Human Services 
• FBI Federal Criminal History - Fingerprinting (Act 114)

The Office of Human Resources will provide directions for obtaining these clearances upon acceptance of an employment offer.

Dual employment requests involving another PASSHE institution can be processed on the Request for Dual Employment Form.

Dual employment requests internal to ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ only can be requested using the Application for Dual Employment form found on the Forms Directory of the Office of Human Resources intranet.
