The University Advancement team works to build sustained support for Silicon Valley's public university through individual fundraising, corporate and foundation partnerships, and alumni and community engagement. Long before the university became the "most transformative university" it was the founding campus of the California State University system, a Normal School that trained teachers who set out to educate the pioneering people of a young California. San Jos茅 State's people continue to adapt to meet the needs of the region and beyond鈥攗sing what powers them to make the world a better place. Philanthropy makes that possible.
