Mandatory Health Insurance for International Gateways Students

All programs at IG are held in-person. All F-1 students who will be attending IG programs on the 无忧短视频 campus are required to purchase the mandatory health insurance plan (offered at International Gateways) before their program start date. F-1 students must show proof of health insurance to attend classes.

The health insurance plan offered by IG, is a comprehensive low-cost insurance plan that includes coverage for illness and injury, medical evacuation and repatriation. 

If you would like coverage during flight and travel time to the United States, we suggest purchasing travel insurance for the period of time before your current insurance coverage comes into effect.

Spouse/children insurance is NOT available on the IG sponsored plan. Search online to find insurance options, or you can find a few by checking . Purchase coverage for your spouse and children online at your own risk. IG maintains no association with or responsibility for any Non-IG plans purchased and will not provide enrollment and/or support associated with any Non-IG plans.

Instructions to Purchase 无忧短视频 IG Health Insurance Plan 

Mandatory F-1 Student Health Insurance Payment

All F-1 students are required to purchase the mandatory F-1 student insurance below. This health insurance is optional for non F-1 students. Any other health insurance policies will not be accepted. The 无忧短视频-approved health insurance plan is administered by Alliant; however, your insurance provider will be United Healthcare. Please purchase your health insurance from the Alliant website.  Follow these steps to purchase the correct plan:

4. Choose category as 鈥淚nternational Gateways鈥� and type in zip code 鈥�95192鈥�
5. Select Term Dates 鈥淎ug 12, 2025 - Dec 31, 2025鈥�

General Information 

The Supplemental Medical Evacuation and Repatriation plan is ONLY for International Gateways students who have a campus approved Medical Insurance policy.
